Ingredients

.75oz Wiggly Bridge White Rum

.75oz Wiggly Bridge Small Barrel Rum

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup creme of coconut

Fresh Nutmeg

Methodology

Mix juices and coconut well.

Fill shaker with ice and add 2 oz of the Small Barrel Rum, then mixture.

Shake well and pour into glass.

Grate nutmeg over the top.

Mix will separate so be sure to shake well.

 

Right now it is snowing in southern Maine. We are expected to get about 5 inches of snow and all we can think about at the distillery is wishing we were someplace warm, preferably with palm trees.

Thankfully here at Wiggly Bridge Distillery we are able to get pretty darn close to feeling like we are someplace warm by whipping up a distillery favorite – The Painkiller.

Whether you are looking to dull the pain from all that shoveling or just looking for a dreamland escape, this “vacation in a glass” cocktail is sure to please your tastebuds.

It is one of the first cocktails we had on our menu at our original distillery location. This is a cocktail that originated in the British Virgin Islands at the legendary Soggy Dollar Bar.
