Wiggly Bridge Distillery’s very own Mixologists will teach a limited group how to measure, shake, stir and pour their way into cocktail bliss.
Start off with a cocktail to warm up your skills, then learn (and taste) the secrets to composing a hand-crafted cocktail at home. You have the opportunity to mix up your own cocktail right at the Wiggly Bridge Distillery Tasting Bar while learning fun facts and history that will surely impress your friends. Taste our award-winning spirits along the way as we show you how to make a classic cocktail like a pro, whether shaken or stirred. Walk away with some delicious craft recipes and master cocktail composition and technique. Join us for a relaxed, fun-filled night of good company and fantastic spirits.

There’s something about York Beach, Maine that feels like stepping right into a coastal 90s movie. Safe, welcoming, and full of old school charm! It’s exactly what I needed for a solo trip with my 8 year old.
We stayed at anchorageinnyorkbeach in a double bed ocean suite with a fireplace. Every chilly evening we lit the fire, curled up in blankets, listened to the waves and even caught a little Monday Night Football together. Cozy memories were definitely made!
Just across the street sits sunandsurf_york , a beachside spot with the best lobster rolls I’ve ever tasted.
Sandy toes, salty air, and fresh Maine seafood = heaven 🫶🏼
The York Beach boardwalk gave us classic summer fun: saltwater taffy, souvenirs, and all the nostalgia!
If you’re visiting in summer, don’t miss York’s Wild Kingdom - rides, animals, family thrills.
We also walked the Wiggly Bridge & Steedman Woods, a tiny 1930s suspension bridge style walkway & woods. Great for letting kids wander & imaginations run.
And oh, the nubblelighthouse - Cape Neddick Light Station (aka Nubble Light) was built in 1879, perching on a rocky islet just 100 yards off York Beach. The islet itself is not open for visitors, but from Sohier Park on the mainland you get those views. The sun setting behind it? Jaw dropping. Westin loved it so much we went back twice! (The two ladies working the gift shop are the sweetest)
We ended each day swimming in the pool and hot tub watching the most beautiful sunsets over the ocean.
My tip? Visit in September. The weather’s still gorgeous, everything’s open, but the crowds thin out and it feels like you’ve found your own secret coastal town.
Anchorage Inn is family run with warm staff, multiple pools (indoor & outdoor), on site dining, free parking, and it’s literally steps from Long Sands Beach. It’s a spot built for families to slow down and actually enjoy each other.
We can’t wait to return in the summer months, this slice of Maine definitely has our hearts. 🧳💙
Meet The Tongue Wiggler 🌶🍸 — a margarita with just the right kick of heat and a burst of fresh herbs. Spicy, herbaceous, and perfectly balanced, it’s made with Wiggly Bridge Distillery’s Reposado Agave Blue (because you can’t call it tequila unless it’s from Mexico, but this York-made spirit more than holds its own).

The Tongue Wiggler Margarita
🥒 1 thick slice of jalapeño (or more if you dare)
🌿 1 small bunch of cilantro (skip if you’re not a fan)
🍯 ¼ oz agave or simple syrup
🥃 2 oz Wiggly Bridge Distillery Reposado Agave Blue
🍋 1 oz lime juice
🍊 ½ oz Cointreau
Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Jalapeño slice
Instructions:
1. Muddle jalapeño, cilantro, and agave.
2. Add remaining ingredients, shake vigorously with ice.
3. Double strain into a glass and garnish.

We partied like it was 1899…
Last Friday we spent a lovely evening on the grounds of the Perkins House Museum for our annual benefit party. This year was extra special as we celebrated the museum’s 125th anniversary.
In 1899 a group of local preservation minded citizens and summer residents, spearheaded by Mary Perkins, initiated an effort to maintain the Old Gaol. Mary Perkins hosted a party at her home in August 1899 to raise funds for the museum. The following year, on July 4, 1900, the Old Gaol opened to the public as a museum showcasing objects associated with York’s history. What began as a modest endeavor 125 years ago is now Old York Historical Society.
A trolley to the Perkins House was generously provided by williamsrealtypartners and cocktails by wigglybridgedistillery. Guests enjoyed hors d’ouevres by Harvest and Plate Catering and live music by The Seasmoke Trio.
