Methodology:
Add water and sugar to a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir sugar until all sugar is dissolved.
Take pan off heat and allow to cool.
Once cooled, transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate!
Simple syrup can last up to 4 weeks in the fridge.

Really want to impress your friends? Make a flavored simple syrup. Not only do flavored simple syrups add a splash of color and a burst of flavor they are just as easy to make! Just like anything, use fresh ingredients.
Here’s what you’ll need for Cranberry Simple Syrup:
-1 cup of sugar
-1 cup of water
-1.5 cups of fresh cranberries
Put water, sugar and cranberries in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir continuously until all cranberries have burst. Strain well and allow to cool.
Put it in an airtight bottle to store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks!
Voila cranberry simple syrup!
